2022 上学校 Awards Ceremony

St. 卢克的 上学校 students were recognized for their outstanding academic, 服务, 领导, 艺术, 运动, and character-driven accomplishments at the 2022 上学校 Awards Ceremony. 周三, 5月25日, students and their families filled the Seldin Performing 艺术 Center, 当朋友, 大家庭, 和圣. 卢克的 社区 tuned in via livestream.

Head of 上学校 Liz Perry opened up the evening by sharing her gratitude for the teachers, 顾问, and class deans: “The student accomplishments that we will recognize this evening are due in large p艺术 to your care and commitment. Day in and day out, as St. 卢克的老师, you model the honor code, 显示诚实, 尊重, 善良, and responsibility in your actions, 大大小小的. You encourage your students to take risks and help them learn from their disappointments.”

The awards presentations were given by teachers, class deans, 校长 Mark Davis, and Perry.  Davis introduced a new award, The Jordan Robinson Award, created in memory of Jordan Robinson, St. 卢克的 Class of 2020, who passed away earlier this year. "As a student 在这里, Jordan helped advance our school’s commitment to issues of social justice,戴维斯说。. “Jordan p艺术icipated in the first St. 卢克的 Civil Rights Trip and led the Diversity 领导 Council and the Black Student Union. His voice was courageous, distinctive, and always came from a place of love. Jordan brought people into the work of equity and inclusion through his head and his he艺术. This award carries on Jordan’s legacy by mirroring a book award that he received in his junior year at St. 卢克的. The Jordan Robinson Award recognizes a senior whose actions demonstrate a commitment to social justice and human rights in the St. 卢克的 community and beyond. This year’s recipient is William Stamoulis ‘22.”
